UPDATE:

February 11, 2010

Your response through just this web site has been staggering. Your generosity is so amazing that I just cannot express how happy I am that so many people see this site and click through to help those in need.
But please be careful of those who may be telling you things that ultimately are found to be untrue. You can get very hurt by those who are willing to sell their integrity to get some of what you posess. If you let them, your whole life could be damaged almost beyond repair.
I still urge you to help as much as you can. The troubles in Haiti are still on going. You can click HERE  to get to the Childrens Hunger Fund.

Thank you again!

So many of you have risen to the challenge of helping out someone you do not know, someone who is in trouble. We can and should aspire to those who give selflessly despite the limits of what they can afford. I know that there are a lot of avenues to help the people of Haiti and the CHF is only one of them. Your generosity has been awesome.

There is still so much work to be done, so many hungry children and so much more we an do to help. If you have not yet helped, please consider helping. You can click HERE  to go to the Childrens Hunger Fund and give whatever you can afford.

THANK YOU!

The response that I've seen here has been overwhelming and you are to be thanked! It has been over a week and so much has been done but there is more, so much more needed. All I can ask is that you keep doing what you do so well. Thank you again.

The Childrens Hunger Fund can use whatever you are able to give, so please click HERE and you can see what they are doing in this effort.

CAN YOU HELP OUT?

It's less than two weeks into this new year and we have a devistating tragedy happening here just outside the United States. The people of Haiti are facing a devistation that none of us ever wants visited upon us. While most of us are unable to lend a hand in person, USANA, in conjunction with one of the most wonderful organizations around have an avenue that could mean the difference between life and death for some people in Haiti.

The Childrens Hunger Fund has set up a web page where you can donate whatever you can afford to help out. USANA has worked with CHF for many years and I believe that they can make a monumental difference. So if you can, please go HERE and do whatever you can. Be a part of a "Selfless Good Deed" network. Only you need to know what you did.

Well I made it. I'm sure you did too. It's going to be exciting and wonderful and something tells me that so many of our expectations will be fulfilled in this next year. We will work harder and get better rewards and share ourselves and our energy and lift others up to meet us rather than lower ourselves to meet them.

You can already see USANA working to raise the USA Luge Team to a higher level by sponsoring and providing nutritionals to them. It is so awesome to be working with a company who strives for excellence and helping others to be as good as they can be.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

December 31, 2009

Well ladies and gentlemen, that familiar time is nearly upon us. When we cheer with great happiness that one year is behind us and another about to be in front of us. And so it goes for another year tonight.

And if by some change I am unable to be with you, I'm holding up a glass of good wishes to everyone who comes here and sees these things I write. To wish the old year out with Father Time and wish the new year in with the New Years Baby. A toast for togetherness with those you wish to be together with, love to and for those you feel deep love for, passion for things you are passionate about and finally that old issues are resolved to make ways and paths toward where your heart takes you and finally to that special person who knows who they are I pray that this year is the year.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

A very
Merry Christmas
to everyone far and wide!

December 23, 2009

Well here we are just before Christmas. All I want to say here is a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday. May the spirits of this year embrace you, comfort you and be with you for now and forever.

December 19, 2009

It is less than a week before Christmas and less than two weeks before the New Year. Once more USANA has shown us all how fantastic it is to be associated with them. Check this video out: Total Domination: Did You Know USANA Is #1

To my many friends and loved ones, Merry Christmas and I pray for all of you to have a full, healthy and happy New Year!

Everyone needs someone they can rely upon. When the going gets tough, sometimes you just need a friend nearby to help you out. During this wonderful season, find that someone and hold them dear, hold them and don't let go. You may never have another chance.

December 4, 2009

Wow. It's already December and the year is winding down fast. Last minute gift purchases, last minute preparations for family visiting, last chances to tell your loved ones how much the past year with them has meant to you.

Thanksgiving may be over but we all still have much to be thankful for. I recently visited with my parents in Florida. The weather was warm as was the love they still wrap around me when we get together. I spent time in Denver on the way, a snow storm delay that unfortunately didn't close the airport, and met people along the way who were so kind and friendly. A Chiropractor from Canada, a corporate video producer from my own town, a returning Vet from Iraq home on 15 days R&R and a health care Corporate Controller. New friends one and all.

So when I think of this time of year, I certainly think USANA and all of their extraordinary products, but I also think of what we all have to be thankful for.

What do you have to be thankful for? If you email me, I'll add your thanks here so others can see it. (Only a first name will be used)

Your reactions continue to come in. I'm very glad we've been able to convince many of you to give Pure Rest a try. So far I've heard several positive statements. Are there more?

I'm debating if I shouldn't let USANA know about this interview. I wonder if they'd be able to use it. Anyone have contacts at the home office who might be interested?

Scroll down for my interview with Patti on "Pure Rest".

I want to say that the response to the interview I recently published, below, has been amazing. Everyone that has written I thank you so much. Patti is a good friend of mine and we do work at the same company. Her story is HER story. I spoke with her earlier today and she tells me that she continues to use her "Pure Rest" with wonderful results. I will continue to field more questions to let me know and assure you that I will continue to forward your questions directly to Patti.

I urge you to pass this information and interview around because it is such a strong statement of how wonderful the USANA products are and how they help all of us. Pass the word!!!

October 20, 2009

Hello all. Over the last several weeks I had the opportunity to talk with a good friend, who also became a Preferred Customer, about the new USANA product, "Pure Rest".  We talked about it in an interview like format and were able to format it so that you can see just how effective and beneficial the product is.  Please feel free to copy and use it as you may for your own customers.  If you have any additional questions for either myself or Patti, please send me an email and I will be sure she gets it.
Thank you

RM: So Patti, I'm glad that you are able to talk with me today about your experiences with one of the newest USANA products, “Pure Rest”. I know you've been using it for a few weeks now. Can you tell me what you first thought about the product as I had described it to you?

Patti: Before I received my shipment of “Pure Rest” I realized I had not asked you what the ingredients were. I became very skeptical when I learned the ingredient was melatonin because I had tried over the counter melatonin before and had not been impressed with the results.

RM: Yes, the only ingredient in “Pure Rest” is melatonin and I am sorry you had found less than desirable results in other products containing melatonin. But I can assure you that “Pure Rest” is, firstly, manufactured here in the United State and it is manufactured under very strict pharmaceutical guidelines called GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). In addition, USANA Health Sciences guarantees that their products are of the highest quality purest available.

So your previous experiences were not what you wanted in a sleep product?

Patti: No. I guess I am a girl that wants it all. Not only do I have trouble going to sleep, but I have trouble staying asleep when I change through my circadian cycles (sleep stages). It seems prescribed sleep aids help me do either one or the other. Some are fast-acting and can put me to sleep very quickly, but I am unable to stay sleeping all night. If I wake up and have only three hours left before I need to get up, I cannot take another dose. Other sleep aids can keep me sleeping for ten hours plus, but are slow acting and it may take me three hours to fall asleep. In this case, if I am working the next day I do not have enough time to sleep off the affects and either have difficulty waking up or have difficulty shaking the grogginess during the first several hours of my day. In addition to prescribed sleep aids I have used multiple OTC products from natural supplements (melatonin, valerian root, etc) to benedryl, and have not been able to find one that works effectively for me and is okay to use on a continual long term basis.

RM: Sleep is so critical to our daily regimin that not getting enough sleep or getting fitful sleep is just so disruptive the next day. And if you cannot get the right kind of sleep for several days in a row it can be disasterous. Certainly some people require more sleep than others but no matter what, the body regenerates itself during our daily sleep cycle and we surely do not want to disrupt that.

You have been using the USANA “Pure Rest” for a few weeks now. Can you tell me about your experiences so far?

Patti: I decided in the beginning to take the doses every day for at least 2-4 weeks in order to objectively evaluate “Pure Rest's” effectiveness. I noticed results within the first few days but I was not sure if the sudden change was just a coincidence so I kept taking the proper dose every night. After two to three weeks I realized it had to be the “Pure Rest.” I could not remember the last time I had such great sleep so many days consecutively, with or without sleep aids. By the time I only had five or six days supply left I immediately called you to request to sign up for auto-ship.

RM: What kind of results did you start seeing?

Patti: Not only was I falling asleep in a gradual, relaxed state without anxiety, but my sleep cycles smoothed out. I still wake up occasionally, but I fall back to sleep easily. I no longer worry about falling asleep. Believe it or not, when I was having so much difficulty sleeping, at night time I would become anxious about the possibility of not sleeping yet another night. “Pure Rest” has given me back more than a good night's sleep. Now I can truly enjoy the peacefulness of crawling in to bed to watch a little TV or read a good book in order to escape from everyday stress and prepare to enjoy a peaceful and re-energizing night's sleep.

RM: You briefly mentioned side affect of other sleeping aids you have tried, have you experienced any with “Pure Rest?”

Patti: Side affects from other sleep aids included drowsiness, stomach upset, sleep-eating and amnesia. Even though the last two may sound funny at first (I have some great stories), they are serious side affects that have terrible consequences and greatly interfere with daily life function. “Pure Rest” tastes pleasant as it dissolves and I have not noticed any side affects. With the majority of medications I have taken, I usually can look to the least likely and most infrequent side affects and expect to experience them in some degree. This has not been the case with “Pure Rest.”

RM: I appreciate your time, do you have any closing comments about “Pure Rest”?

Patti: Thank you USANA for developing “Pure Rest!” “Pure Rest” has given me back pure rest. My blood pressure is dropping, my anxiety levels are dropping, and I feel like I have the energy to deal with the  stresses of everyday life. I am truly thankful and I encourage anyone else that has sleep difficulties to give “Pure Rest” a try. What do you have to lose?

This interview was conducted during the second week of October and was not sanctioned by USANA Health Science.

I guess I'll need to be more diligent with my web site. I made two updates to this site since September 3 and as of today they are missing.

I will be posting a brief interview I did with one of my customers who is using the new product Pure Rest.  She tells me that it's wonderful.  I should have that interview up shortly.

In the meantime, winter is coming (for us in the northern hemisphere) and leaving (for you in the southern hemisphere). For us, we need to take care about the whole issues surrounding the flu. Yearly the flu takes it toll and I don't want anyone to get caught up in it this year, especially with that ole H1N1 bopping around.  For those of you just coming into the warm weather, I hope the summer brings good temps, good growing weather and lots of sunshine.

The end of this year will be upon us very soon, so make your plans now to make a lot of noise to keep those ole bad spirits away while we celebrate the ending of the old year and the ringing in of the new year.

Okay, it's only a few days after the USANA 2009 Convention and although I wasn't there I'm pumped. I have heard from friends who attended, some from very far away (Hi Sharon, glad you got back home okay), some from nearby. Everyone is telling me what I discovered last year, that USANA does a convention like no other company or industry that I've ever been involved with.

There are new products, updating of existing products and overall a feeling that USANA is once again looking out for us, the Independent Associates.

I heard an interview given by George Foreman the other day. He's the retired boxer and spokesperson and owner of the George Foreman grill. He was saying what I've heard a hundred times before. Stick with it, go with it and if you believe, others will believe in you!
I think they said he has sold 100,000,000 grills and he attributes that to the fact that the grill is actually very good and that he is sincere.

So where does that leave all of us? Lets see. USANA Health Sciences has the highest quality, most bio-available and pure products available. And when we talk to others about their products we are examples of the products and sincere.  Hmmm.  I wonder why I haven't sold 100,000,000 Health Pak 100's?  Maybe I'm on my way. How about YOU!

August 30, 2009

Well it's over. And it seems like it's been running for a full week. At the same time it was waaaaayyyy too short.  Those of you who were fortunate to have been able to attend the USANA 2009 NO LIMITS Convention in Salt Lake City you saw and awesome display of how mighty a company can be.  Having been in attendance last year (2008) I can only make the assumption that this years was even bigger and better and more spectacular!!!

USANA has, once again, wowed each of us by introducing a new product, reformulated the flagship line of Essentials and provided a new structure to the customizable daily packs called MyHealthPak.

It's called Pure Rest and is a new product. A healthy dose of melatonin will keep you rested all night and keep your body healthy.

Vitamin D levels have been increased to 1800 IU's, a maximum level of vitamins for a maximum level of benefit.

Proflavanol and Visionx have been doubled (DOUBLED) in strength and the super heart supplement has gotten tripled (TRIPLED!)

USANA made a promise years ago to provide the healthiest and highest quality vitamins and supplements that you can get. This year, once again, they have made good on their promise.

USANA donated, at the 2009 Convention $100,000 to the Children’s Hunger Fund. The CHF is near and dear to Dr. Wentz's heart as well as so many USANA Associates. Saturday morning saw a 5K run where each runner paid a $20.00 donation/fee to enter. I understand that many many hundreds ran, as I did last year. (Hit your PgDn button a few times and you can actually see ME crossing the finish line last year. And no, I didn't win, but I was surely proud to be a part of something so worthwhile.)

When you peruse the www.whatsupusana.com web site, you'll see just how many athletes partake in USANA vision and the USANA product line.  From Gold medal Olympic winners to the Woman’s Tennis Association (WTA) members to the US and Canadian Olympic Speed Skaters including Speed Skating Gold Medal winner Derek Parra, you just have to understand that you cannot fool these type of world level athletes. They and their coaches know that is good and what isn't and they have come to discover that USANA is gold, gold in the form of vitamins and supplements that enhance the athletes daily activities.

On the last day of the 2009 USANA Convention there was a special guest. Larry King stopped by and interviewed Tim Sales. Go ahead, beat that!!!

I'm out of breath; I'm trying to tell you so much so fast. So here's the thing.  If you are not already part of USANA, you are missing out on two very important things in your life. You are missing out on getting and being healthier and you are also missing out on the opportunity to create and succeed with a strong second stream of income; (that is, second stream until you build your business, when you then only need one stream of income, USANA)

Take the next step. Look over www.whatsupusana.com check out my web site further and even go to the USANA site dedicated to Rev3 the best most healthy energy drink that has come on the market in many years. www.drinkrev3.com  One you look things over, email me, ask me about how you too can become a part of this awesome organization. I will let you know and help you get there.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!   Have you been watching the USANA details coming out of the 2009 Convention?  Here is the link:    http://www.whatsupusana.com/   If you have then you know that there are new products and updates to existing products that are now introduced.  Having been to convention before, there may also be new products that were available ONLY at convention but may be released afterward. I'll be watching.

It looks like this years convention is going to be bigger, better and all around fantastic for those attending.

Watch here for I'll be listing the new items so that you can make your own decisions about expanding your business or perhaps getting into a new USANA business.

And thank you very much for the emails I've been getting.  I do appreciate them.  And while I'm not a professional "blogger" I do appreciate your comments about what I try to do here. People who are part of the USANA family like to work with each other, so for Tony, I will be happy to talk to your prospects about my successful weight loss and how I won the 2008 Reset Games!!!

Now get out there and spread the USANA success story. Together we can do it!

August 27, 2009

Okay, day one is over at the 2009 USANA Convention.  If you have not yet gone to the web site to look at the videos and pictures and some of the stories from day one, GO THERE NOW!

Day two seems to have had an explosion of new information about changes that USANA has made to it's core product line, the Essentials and to the Health Pak 100.  They've added a huge punch to the products and the way things are today, you will benefit so much from the added potency they are building in. I can't wait to hear what else this fantastic company will be offering to us all in the whole product line.  Email me if you are  not yet a USANA member, I can help you understand what you are seeing and how fortunate you are to have discovered the #1 health products company in North America.

The more I'm seeing the tweets and blogging and other information I'm receiving from friends and upline members who are at the convention, the more I would liked to have been able to get there this year.

SO DO NOT HESITATE!!!  Go to: http://www.whatsupusana.com/ and check out what is happening!  You don't need to be a USANA Associate to see what is going on in Salt Lake City.  Take a look, you won't be disappointed.

August 26, 2009

Okay gang, the day has come, the time is NOW! USANA 2009 Convention is officially underway!

If you, like me, can't get there this year, you MUST go to the USANA sponsored website to keep up-to-date on what is happening in Salt Lake City!

Here's the link:    http://www.whatsupusana.com/

You'll find opening day stuff and behind the scenes stuff and you do not need to be a USANA Associate to see it.  It's a great time for you to take a look and perhaps decide that you would like to join the #1 health products company in North America. If you want to, just drop me an email and I'll help you with any / all of your questions.

GO USANA 2009!

August 20, 2009

Well it's nearly here. Next week starts the 2009 USANA Convention in Salt Lake City. I attended last year but it doesn't look like I'll be there this year.

To anyone and everyone going there are a few things you need to concern yourself about.

1. Be prepared to walk. The center is huge, just huge. There is so much to see and the breakout sessions are so fantastic that you'll be walking, perhaps, miles before the week is done.

2. Get to as many of the breakout sessions as you can. USANA has the very best experts making presentations that are very memorable.

3. Meet people. It is a singly unique opportunity to meet others, like yourself, who believe in the USANA vision and Dr. Wentz. You could spend the next year trying to meet as many people in your day to day life and not even come close.  Everyone is going to be looking to meet you too.

4. Savor the time there. Your hotel room is for sleeping. The city is for you to be with friends, old and new and SLC is a fantastic city to visit.

5. If you haven't yet signed up for the Saturday Childrens Hunger Fund 5K run, then go and do it early Saturday morning. It doesn't really matter if you can run or you would just walk. The fund is solid, the association with USANA and Dr. Wentz second to none and the whole thing is just world class.

There is a whole lot more but I hope you'll get a little picture. As I said I won't be there this year so if you can, please send me emails of your experiences and adventures while in Salt Lake City. One experience like this with USANA will make you want to do it again year after year. I'm just sorry that I can't make it this year.

Have a great time!

August 9, 2009

Time is running out. Only a little over 2 weeks till it's SLC time for the 2009 USANA International Convention. Get your Rev3 surge packs ready cause your going to need all the energy you can muster to see everything.  Expect to cheer, roar, clap and maybe even dance so get yourself ready now. Don't wait!

Have a great time and enjoy all that there is to see and experience.

July 27, 2009

Wow. The summer is just going by like a flash.  Those who I encounter in the USANA family on Facebook who live in the southern hemisphere tell me it's coooolllllldddd there. And here it's over 100 (F). Either way it's what we have and where we all are and we'll certainly do the very best we can.

Convention is getting closer and closer and I hope everyone reading this can attend.

Meanwhile, you can look for me on Facebook or on Twitter (@richmarty).

All the best to everyone.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!!  A little late but I did want to get that in.

In the general gist of things in the world today, perhaps the #1 issue that should be on everyone's mind is their health.  I've spoken with some people around me lately and on occasion they fight me when we talk about the need to be more healthy.  Forget the issues surrounding the costs of health care for a moment.  In my mind, why wouldn't you look for a way to keep yourself away from going to the doctor.  Get healthy, stay health and live.

I have spoken with some people in the medical industry and am very pleased to hear that they are so much more open to thinking healthy.  They may not jump on board instantly, but the whole issue of the need to be healthy is no longer a hurdle to overcome.

So.  Get healthy, stay healthy and live the best you can.  USANA products can give all that to you.

June 26, 2009

Okay, so today it's just a fairly short note.  If you are a USANA regular then you know what Rev3 is all about.  If you are not, then I would be most pleased to tell you all about it.

Recently, two days ago actually, there was a Consumer Products Event held in Santa Monica, California.  There were many visitors but one pair especially stood out. A visit from the web site Palestra.Net (Deidre Behar and Raj Nair) interviewed our very own Dan Macuga (Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations) about Rev3!  You can see the whole Consumer Product Events review with Palestra.Net and Dan's portion of it HERE. (Pay close attention at about 2:08 into the interview and again at about 3:10)

The great part about Rev3 is that is doesn't hammer you like those others energy drinks. It's powerful and clean and gives you not only a great boost but a healthy one as well.  I've already begun working with a college student to bring Rev3 into their dormatory. Great for me and it can be a nice tidy little profit for those students involved.

So who do you know who lives in a dorm at a college?  You might also be surprised at just how much money students spend on the other energy junk.  Do what I'm doing, introduce the good energy stuff, Rev3 in both cans and the surge pack.

And if you haven't yet tried it, do so soon because you will not be disappointed.

 June 3, 2009

So it is simply beautiful here in Southern Oregon.  Everything blossomed, the fruit trees in the orchard at my home are showing very positive signs that this summer will get me lots of cherrys, pears, plums, some almonds and perhaps as many as a dozen apple pies!!!  I know, I don't need that many pies, but having a little bit every evening after dinner should keep me healthy.

I have had the chance, recently, to talk with some people who are very athletic.  We talked about how they prepare for workouts.  We discussed casual versus hard or intense workouts and as you would expect, the hard and intense workouts require that preparation be made *before* things get going.

Often having a few samples of the Rev3 Surge Pack with me, I've sampled some friends who advised me that their intense workouts were so much more successful after having had a Rev3 Surge Pack.  I'm told that success is often measured in tiny amounts and that the difference between a good workout and a great workout might be two more reps or 5 pounds more weight or 5 more minutes on a strength machine.  No matter what the measurament, Rev3 can be a big boost.

This is not to ignore the Rev3 Energy Drink.  In a can, Rev3 Energy Drink has a citrus taste and provides an energy boost that is both very healthy and highly satisfying.  I've used it before working on my property, mowing, cutting trees and stacking split wood and there is no doubt that the results of a Rev3 Energy Drink makes a huge difference.  And unlike the other marketed energy drinks, there's no crashing into the ceiling from the sugar or getting slammed into the basement when it lets you go.  Rev3 give a nice energy boost, then when the boost wears off, it provides for a nice comfortable landing.

Once again USANA comes through!!!

The price is right on these items. If you are a USANA Associate and haven't yet tried these products, you will be glad when you did.  If you are not a USANA Associate, drop me a line and I'll probably send you one Rev3 Surge Pack just to try it out!  You won't be disappointed.

WOW. It has been a few months since I've been back here. Time just simply vanishes when you are not paying particular attention to it.

But I'm back and I'll be updating this page in the next few days.  Thank you very much to everyone who has been stopping by and those who have dropped me emails, I'll get back to you personally.

You can also see me on Facebook (Rich Marty).

See you soon...

Time is a wonderful thing. It is also something that is, truly, fleeting.  A month went by and I could swear it was about a week.

No matter.  I'll be revamping this web page over the weekend to a whole new format.  Thank You USANA for your hard work on supporting this web hosting and also coming up with some great new features.

Well, it's Oscar's time in good old Hollywood. Some of us will watch, others will not. But there is something that is exciting that will happen on Sunday surrounding the Hollywood celebration and our favorite company USANA.

A wonderful partner in USANA, Erika Hilliard, on her Facebook page, tells us that the skin care line of USANA, called Sensé™ (pronounced san-say), will be hosting a highly prized party this year.  Here is a quote from her Facebook page:

Just a quick note to let you know that Sensé™ Beautiful Science will be at the
Oscars this year, how exciting for all USANA Associates!

As a Platinum Sponsor of 2 pre-Oscar Parties, Sensé™ Beautiful Science & its
Skin Care Experts will be analyzing celebrities' skin and recommending the
proper Sensé™ skin care routines for them! Intensive Hand Rejuvenation
treatments will also be offered! Amazing! :D

The opportunity to show just how beneficial Sensé products are, especially to people whose business it is to look healthy and beautiful is wonderful and so empowering. Our thanks goes out to Erika to share this information with us and we hope that all those who have not yet experienced Sensé will soon sample the products.

OFFER: All you need to do is ask for a sample if you are not already a USANA customer or contact USANA to get a sample of the Prelude 5, a sample pack of the basic Sensé products. Send me a contact and tell me a bit about yourself. With Sensé, you will thank me down the road.

As you know this month is Heart Healthy Month, and with Valentines Day in this month, Heart Healthy Month is very appropriate. The spot light featured product from USANA this month is Reset; something dear to me. In January of 2008, for those of you who don't recall, I began the 2008 RESET Games by submitting a picture of myself before. On April 22 (12 weeks later) I submitted an after picture of myself and listed my weight loss at 26 pounds. USANA, after reviewing all North American entries, awareded me the Grand Prize. I was very honored and thrilled that my efforts and those of close friends paved the way for me to succeed.

On this page, down a few previous entries, is a photo of the prize I was awarded. While I am ever so grateful to USANA (I did a short YouTube video) I am even more grateful that they brought to light the need for all of us to eat better and live better. There is little to compare to the overall value USANA has already brought to my life and if you are not already familar with USANA, please drop me a note.

So for this Heart Healthy Month, I would like all of you and those you know and love to think about eating and living a more healthy life. It really doesn't take much effort to do better things for yourself, it isn't very complicated. If you ask, I'd be more than happy to talk with you about how I benefited from eating and living in a more healthy way.

Still trying to remember to put the '09' in the year. Wow. Is it really 2009. The excitment of the millenium seems like it was happening just last week.

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS to Dave Wentz. To be honored by Forbes Magazine must be so thrilling. I saw your picture on their list, Dave you wear your years well and I know you will continue to represent USANA and all of our interests so powerfully in the future.

In this new year, we can all start with the promise that this year will be better than the last and next year will be better than this one. With new products, new compensations and just a new outlook, everyone in the USANA family will be more than successful this year. I look forward to renewing acquaintenances and friends I made at the 2008 Conference at the 2009 Conference. I've already gotten my access pass; do you?

Please continue to feel free to send me notes of your weight loss success, your limitless dreams and your good wishes for everyone!

Don't look now but it's 2009!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Well a very Happy New Year to EVERYONE.  You have all been so good to me by coming here and sending me good wishes during this past year; and I thank all of you.

Okay now. What are we going to do in this New Year? Huh? How about lets start with a personal promise that we will all live a more healthy life and lifestyle. It's not easy, in fact it is pretty tough. I stopped smoking about 3 years ago after 40+ years of smoking. I stopped on a Tuesday afternoon. Yup. I just stopped. Was it difficult? Yes. Was I miserable for the week? Pretty much. But I hung in there, I stuck it out and got out the other side with my life back in my control. I won't be a crusader to get you to stop smoking but it's one of the best things you can do for yourself and of course your family.

Eating. Boy could I eat. I used to tell my wife, when I brought a pizza home, "...take what you want now because the rest if mine...." I can look back and laugh now but at the time I was so serious. After about ten years of completely uncontrolled gluttony I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. WOW. Talk about a head spinner. So I got off my horse and thought about what I had done and just dismissed sugar, white bread and the tons of things that led me to where I was. That was in April of 2007. I went on drugs, lots of drugs including injecting insulin (about 35 units twice a day).  Then I discovered USANA. A health products company and my life has once more changed completely.

I lost weight in their Reset Games for 2008 and I was actually selected as the Grand Prize Winner. I was awarded a home gym (an elliptical that you can see if you scroll down) and my pictures were included in the USANA flip chart that is distributed world wide. And in the essay they asked me to write I said that it actually didn't matter if I won or lost, I was already a winner because I was getting my life back. I exercised and ate better and learned so much more about good nutrition and healthy habits. And I've kept the weight off this whole year too. So with this new year, I plan on taking another slice out of my weight and see if I can't drop another 25 pounds (about 11.3 kilos). I have a number of people here in my home town who are going to join me and together we'll support each other and root for each other and generally have a great time while we lose a few pounds.

If you are here through USANA then you already know what their products can do for you. If you have not come through USANA then please do yourself a favor and ask me for more information. If you already have enough income then you don't need to ask, if you are as healthy as Jack LaLane then you don't need to ask about health. But if you could use an additional stream of income or you could do with a little better health, then I ask you to let me help you.

So here is to 2009. May your health and happiness be #1 on your list of priorities and I hope to hear from any and all of you telling me about your thoughts, hopes and limitless dreams for this new year. God bless.

December 19, 2008

WOW! Is it really almost "that" time again? Well looking at the calendar on my wall, it sure is; so...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I got a shipment of the Prelude 5 sample packs from USANA and have begun to distribute them around. They make fantastic gifts too, for family and close friends.  I will be embarking on a local Reset type games here in Southern Oregon after the first of the year. It is my hope that we'll have around 30+ people attending. And, of course, I'll be right in there pitching and struggling to drop those extra pounds I didn't shed earlier in 2008.

It is a wonderful time to be alive. Friends, family and just the idea that some of what we all can do will affect so many hundreds or thousands of other people. Each positive statement we think attracts others to us who think the same way or need something positive in their lives. It's called the "Laws of Attraction" and it works.  Think positively, do good things and you will be surprised at what shows up in your life.

So here is to all who have been back to this site over and over to read my words; to all those who WILL be coming to this site this year to read my words and to all those who have not seen my words; God Bless all of you and we will keep you in our hearts this Christmas season and for all of 2009!

December 4, 2008

This is such a wonderful time of year. The old year is starting to wind down and a new year is approaching. The possibilities are truly open for everyone and if I may say so, all of us can have Limitless Dreams.  As I talk with new prospects these days and rekindle old
connections I continue to recall just how wonderful and special the August Convention in Salt Lake City was. The new friends I made, the people I met and the ability for me to share my story and my success was and is something I will treasure.

This picture, for those of you who know this person, was taken at the USANA party after the awards ceremony. The energy level was off the scale and when I saw Tim I just had to say hello.  This man is perhaps one of the most gracious and generous men I have ever met. He gives his time freely and openly and is warm and kind. He is someone we can all aspire to model ourselves after.  Here's to you Tim Lewis, may God bless you.

November 18, 2008

Hello everyone! Our November 6 H & F meeting was a success! There were several USANA Associates who attended. I was asked to talk about my Reset Games and weight loss success, which I certainly did to the tune of about a half hour.  We had other weight loss guests and spoke of USANA in general and the ability to open up a new stream of income with a USANA business. Everyone was very excited and we are already looking to not only do another H&F but to do a Sense Spa Party.

Believe me, when you put something like this together it is so exciting and empowering to be able to tell your story and share your experiences. That's all it takes, talk about your personal successes, big or small. Not everyone is fortunate enough to succeed at winning the Reset Games but I have begun to have a small and loyal following of friends from around the world. However, there is no doubt that everyone, yes everyone, has a story to relate. A USANA Associate in my organization has broken a national record in a particular sport and he attributes it to taking the USANA Health Pak 100. He said to me, "...there is no doubt in my mind that I would not have been able to do what I did without taking the USANA Health Pak 100...". That is a story, a powerful story and he shares it when he speaks with others. They can relate even though they are not competing in national contests.

So what is YOUR story. How has USANA helped you and allowed you to do things you've not done before? I've told you about me. Now tell me something about yourself. Click on the Contact link and send me your story. I'll share it with everyone else here. You only need your first name and where you are from. If you include your email address or more information I promise NOT to reveal it with anyone. This way we can all benefit from your success.

For those of you in the Southern Oregon area please find the time to come visit our next Health and Freedom meeting. It will be held in Phoenix, Oregon on Thursday November 6, 2008. It is listed in the Events Calendar on the USANA site or I can send you details and directions if you plesae send me a request. Click the 'Contact Me' along the left margin below.

Fall is in the air and Thanksgiving is coming sooner than you can imagine. Watch those carbs, watch the volume of your food and keep walking or doing your basic exercises every day!! You'll be glad to have lost those 5 to 10 pounds BEFORE turkey day. Then afterward we'll talk about those clothes you want to wear for New Years Eve.

October 15, 2008

Hello everyone!  This month has seen so many of you contacting me to tell me about your successes on  Reset and weight loss in general. And I think that is AWESOME!  I urged many to look at the new USANA Flip Chart (especially page 16) to see all of the updated information contained in it.

At this time of year we are probably all looking forward to Thanksgiving (yes I know I'm a little bit early) but that will be a time when distant family might visit and wouldn't it be wonderful to show them that you've lost a few pounds since they last saw you? Yes it would! Perhaps you "graze" when you should hold steady or perhaps you put a tad too much on your plate at dinner. We've all done it and some, including me, still do on occasion. So here's a little suggestion. Make a fist and that is roughly equal to one cup. That's about how much pasta, rice, quinoa or potatoes you should have at dinner. An equal amount of vegetables and about 4 ounces of meat (fish, chicken, turkey or pork are good choices followed by beef). After dinner you should keep a USANA Nutrition Bar handy (I'm partial to the oatmeal raisin) and when you get the urge to "graze" have the bar instead. You'll feel better and be better for it.  Also, I try to keep a container in the frig of freshly brewed green tea which I sweeten a bit with either agave nectar or xylitol (a quick google search will fill you in on those tasty items, and while you are there also look up quinoa, it is the most fantastic food I've seen and used in years and it is perhaps the most healthy grain ever grown).

So keep up the good work and look to lose about 2 to 4 pounds each week and by Thanksgiving you could be about 10 to 12 pounds lighter. WOW!!! Lets all do that!!!

Here's another shot from this years USANA Convention in Salt Lake City. That "other" guy in the picture is none other than the President of USANA; Fred Cooper. He is a delightful man, a good human being and a truly funny guy. Oh, and yes, he is at the helm of the best health products company in the world (yes, I am a bit partial).

October 1, 2008

Wow! We're into October already and I'm so very energized over the days to come.  I am trying to organize a Reset group here in Southern Oregon and hope to have about 5 hardcore weight reduction believeres. For me, I want to lose another 20 pounds, others are looking for various weight reductions from 5 to 25 pounds.  It's all good!!!

I'll post how we're doing once it all gets going. And as a boost as to what is possible, here is a picture of me at the end of my very first 5K run that was held on Saturday morning during convention week in Salt Lake City. Yes, they gave everyone finishing a Rev3 and believe me it tasted as good as they said it would taste and on top of that it kept me going easily till lunch.  Please trust me when I say, "...if I can do this, so can YOU!..."

Here is a toast to everyone who took part in this worthy Childrens Hunger Fund 5K run!!!

September 17, 2008

It's a few weeks after conference and I'm still flying high on all of the energy everyone brought to Salt Lake City. If you are an Associate and were unable to attend this year, please make it part of your plans for next year; the experience is not something you'll soon forget.

Speaking of not forgetting, I want everyone (EVERYONE) to get the newest copy of the Health & Freedom flip chart. I'M IN IT!!! Yes that's right on page 16 on the Reset page there are two pictures of me, before and after. It is so very exciting to know that every new Associate and everyone downloading or ordering the hardcopy of the flip chart will be seeing me (and that is world wide). Pass the word along and tell everyone to get the newest version.

Also, here's a little picture of myself and a very precious and gifted person that I happened to talk with at the convention this year. I am so very honored that he took a little of his time to speak with me about winning the Reset Games and then allowed me to take a picture with him. What a wonderful man.

September 2, 2008

Well here it is Tuesday, September 2 and I'm back from the USANA Convention by only a day and I still feel as invigorated as I felt attending the conference.  It is a little difficult to fully describe my reaction to the events that went on at the conference but I can perhaps come close by saying; Unexpected, Unbelieveable, Amazing, Awsome and well there are a whole slew more words I could use but I hope you can get the picture.

I need to keep this brief as I am interested in doing much followup work with prospects as I am keenly interested in the new USANA compensation plan involving Pacesetters. If you were there, you know, if you weren't you should read up on the new bonus compensations that USANA has formulated.

In the next weeks I'll be posting some fun pictures I have from the conference. You can leave comments on them or just look them over and know that being at conference is decidedly a unique experience. One that you shouldn't miss.

August 26, 2008

It's off to Salt Lake City for me and a close friend who is also a USANA Upline Associate (Ruby Director), Travis Loriano.  We are expecting to leave from here in Southern Oregon and get to Salt Lake City around 8 AM to 9 AM on Wednesday August 27.  After registering we will be "around" the convention.  I will be looking to meet new friends and Travis will look to find both old and new friends.

I will be on stage at the Store Stage area in the late afternoon so if you are coming and read this today, I look forward to seeing you Wednesday afternoon around 5:00.

This will be the greatest convention ever!  And.  Look here after September 2. I'll have pictures and perhaps video of the convention for you to see.

August 21, 2008

Well here we are less than a week away from convention in Salt Lake City and I am so very pumped and excited.  As I had said, I'll be on stage on Wednesday the 27th at around 5:00 PM so I would very much like everyone to be there to cheer me on. So before we all get there, here is a great big THANK YOU!

I also have made a short video, with a very good friend and another USANA Associate Eric Tyrrell. It's been posted on YouTube for about a week and while there are not many hits, it certainly is exciting to see myself out there for everyone to see.  I am working with the USANA Marketing Department to have the video ready to be shown during my on stage appearance.  Here is the link to my video.  Please feel free to comment on it.

We will see everyone there next week!

August 12, 2008

Today I spoke with USANA again, and I rediscover, each time I talk with them, that USANA is just the greatest company in the world. Anyway, anyone and everyone reading this who will also be at this years USANA Convention must come to see me at the USANA Store Stage on Wednesday, August 27 at around 5:00 PM. I was told today that I have about 10 minutes on stage to talk about my weight loss, my journey with the 2008 Reset Games and USANA in general.  I'm so very excited and cannot wait to meet everyone there.

So please, if you know anyone who will be going or if you will be going, please make it a point to come see me at the Store Stage at 5:00 PM on Wednesday. And please do not hesitate to drop me a note here telling me you will be there.

I look forward to seeing you there and you will certainly see me there; but at least there will be less of me there than there would have been a year ago!!!

August 1, 2008

I thought that I'd show everyone the elliptical that USANA awarded me as the winner of the 2008 Reset Games. It's together and I've been using it regularly.  Thank you, again, USANA!

I would love to hear comments from anyone about this product, it's great!! And, oh yes, only the elliptical was delivered, not the woman.

(MORE BELOW...)

Hello again. I just returned from the eye doctor and am sitting here with my Little Orphan Annie eyes (very dilated) as I type this. Hopefully it will make some sense when I'm done.

Having been diagnose with Type 2 diabetes in 2007, I became aware of the dangers associated with doing nothing about my condition. So I chose to understand and deal with it in a realistic manner. I did what was necessary to bring my sugar intake way down, reduce my unhealthy eating habits and of course keep to a regular course of taking my USANA Health Pak 100. Doing all of that has allowed me to reduce my drug intake for my diabetic condition substantially. I have been having regular medical checkups but I hadn't, until today, had my eyes checked in about 4 years.

I finally went and am very glad I did. Firstly, there was nothing glaringly wrong, which I am very grateful for. There is, however, a slight elevation in my eyes internal pressure. While not considered to be glaucoma the doctor asked me to return and begin a series of tests to set a baseline for future comparisons. Precautionary to be sure, but a very smart suggestion. It was my first visit with this doctor but I can assure you it won't be my last. He was thorough, professional and patient with me and I would love to put his name here (I'll have to ask him the next time I go for the next checkup) for anyone living in Southern Oregon.

You should have your eyes checked, no matter what. But if you, like me, have a diabetic condition, seeing an eye doctor can, literally, save your vision.

A little more update on July 31, 2008:

I received an email from my eye doctor and he has generously consented to me using his name here. I strongly urge anyone in Southern Oregon to consider contacting the group he is a member of and get an eye exam soon. And if you are not in this area, please find the time to contact a doctor near you and have your eyes checked. Your future vision might very well depend upon it.

Once again USANA has come through and proved, to this Associate, that they are one of the greatest companies around.  Last night I got home to a package from USANA that contained two containers of Nutrimeal (Dutch Chololate and Cappuccino), a new blender bottle, a USANA digital pedometer, a Spa gift certificate and an access pass to this years International Convention in Salt Lake City!

This morning I got onto the USANA Today page and the 2008 Reset Game Winners have been officially announced. I would like to congratulate everyone who participated and especially those people who have been recognized by USANA.

I would like to add that no matter what anyone else decides, when you give you best to accomplish your goals, you are a winner!

I would like everyone to see those people who have won. So if you are not a USANA Associate and cannot get to the winners page, please drop me a note below and I'll send you a .PDF file of that page so you can see everyone.

Recently I was on a conference phone call that was discussing goal visualization. Goal visualization in all of it's permutations gives us a glimpse at what we can do. When we create a plan to achieve a goal we need to envision what we will look like, if we are talking of weight loss, or where we will be, if we are talking of success in business.

To see yourself as thinner, in a nicer shirt and slacks or a new dress or skirt can go very far in helping us to remain on the path to our goal. When I began the 2008 Reset Games I honestly didn't see myself at the end of the contest. I saw my "before" picture and chuckled at the thought that someone would actually see it. Then as the weeks went past and I began to believe that I would actually have an opportunity to do well in the contest I did begin to picture myself in the "after" photo. Of course the Paul Newman image of myself faded quickly, but I saw myself being thinner and there is no question that it did help propel me along.

I'm an example. You can be too!

July 8, 2008

It has been a little over two weeks since USANA contacted me to tell me that I had won the 2008 USANA Reset Games; and I'm still on a high. The number of people who I have known and people I continue to meet are so awesomely supportive that I feel encouraged, daily, to keep telling everyone about the values and benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle. As I spread that word around I always include the idea that good health is a matter of mind, body and spirit. With the thoughts that you are capable of leading a more healthy life and with the support of USANA products and with the strong belief in what you are doing, there is nothing that you cannot accomplish. Think it and believe it and it will be so....

USANA has informed me that they have made arrangements to have an IronMan elliptical shipped to my home! How totally fantastic is that?

As each day that goes by I get the chance to talk with old friends as well as new people who are becoming friends, about how I was able to change my life. I tell them that I use the great USANA products like Nutrimeal and Health Pak and the ways in which they too can change their lives. Dr Wentz said it before, "we are living too short and dying too long" and I am firmly convinced that USANA can be a great aid in living longer than ever before.  Join me, contact me, together we can have Limitless Dreams of both health and wealth.

June 24, 2008

I have spoken with the wonderful people at USANA and find out that they will be posting the results on the USANAToday page in the next few days. I have also been informed that I will be receiving home gym equipment in the form of an IronMan elliptical!!! How fantastic is that!!! I'll outline more information on this as the days move on.

I must say that each and every day since I learned that I had won the Reset Games contest for this year I've talked with, listened to and worked with people who are just the most incredible, thoughtful and inspirational people anyone could ever hope to meet. From those with USANA Corporate to other Associates both in my up-line and cross lines to people I don't know but have told about my success I just keep hearing such wonderful things that I get chills up my back. To everyone I have spoken to, Thank You so much.

 WE WON!

As of today, the results of the 2008 USANA Reset Games has not yet been officially announced, but I have been contacted by USANA and told that I was the Grand Prize Winner of the 2008 Reset Games!!!  I will be talking with USANA representatives to sort out the details but I want this space on my web page to make the grand announcement.

I also would like to thank a few very specific people. To my wife, Judy, who stood with me, encouraged me and stayed there as I struggled to lose weight and get more fit than I’ve been in many years. She complimented me when I'd put almost 4 miles under my feet with exercise and  commiserated when I complained about my aching muscles.  My family also stood with me; my parents Barbara and Bill, my sister Barbara, my brother Bob and my other brother Bill all continually encouraged me to be true and faithful to what I was trying to accomplish. God bless all of them.

Specific thanks need to be said for two members of my USANA support system group: Eric Tyrrell who is so very knowledgeable in nutritional matters and had a way, as a good friend, to keep me from seeking out those “$6.00 Burgers” when I should have been thinking tuna sandwiches.  He introduced me to a host of healthy and nutritional foods that I used and will use on into the future. We work together every day and his overall support has been inspiring. I am hoping to have more people get to know him as well as I do.  Also, Travis Loriano as a practicing mentor, life and wholistic health coach has been so very inspiring in his unwavering commitment to my goals and to all things healthy in both body and spirit. When others get to know these men as I’ve come to know and work with them, their lives will be greatly enriched as a result.

It is my hope that over the coming days and weeks, you who read this page, will come to understand, as I have, the qualities and values that you can experience by believing in not only yourself but in USANA Health Sciences and the visions set forth by Dr. Wentz. I strongly urge you to drop me a line in the “Contact Me” section below. Please be sure that either Eric Tyrrell, Travis Loriano or I (Rich Marty) will contact you
soon.  We are ALL here to help you!

I would also like to specifically thank the great people at the Grants Pass Oregon YMCA. I worked with a personal trainer there to help me get into shape and those other people who work so tirelessly at my local "Y" need to know that they are so very much appreciated.  Here is their web site, http://grantspassymca.org/ visit them and use their services if you live in this area.

Just some thoughts

Below is the essay I submitted to USANA at the completion of the 2008 Reset Games Contest. The details in it are true today and tomorrow for me and for everyone. It is also something that you can apply to your daily life; weight loss or financial goals. Please let me know what you think!!!

My Journey to Health

A diagnosis of Type 2 (or insulin independent) diabetes in April 2007 was the start of my journey to better health. From food intake to the content of the food I was eating, I had to drastically change my routines and overall lifestyle in an effort to control my condition.

I diligently watched what I ate, increased my physical activity, took the prescribed medications and monitored my blood glucose levels. By around October my blood glucose levels were considerably lower and more stable but my overall health and well-being seemed to remain about the same.

At Thanksgiving of 2007, I was introduced to the amazing product line of USANA. After sampling three days of the HealthPak 100 and feeling an immediate increase in my energy and stamina, I signed up as an Associate. The 2008 Reset Games gave me the impetus to challenge myself to seek an even healthier lifestyle.

On January 2, 2008, I embarked on my 12-week personal journey to better health. Along the way, I joined my local YMCA for exercise and researched more healthy food and food preparations. I can tell you now that I am significantly healthier as a result of 2008 Reset Games. And like a good friend, USANA has played a vital and critical role in my personal success.

I believe that in order to succeed at anything there must be four components involved.

  1. A realistic goal. Having a realistic goal gives you the opportunity to attain the goal and doing so promotes success which propels you on to further realistic goals. USANA urged not just weight loss but body transformation; a realistic goal.

  1. A solid plan. Establishing a plan to attain your goals is a map on how to achieve success. USANA helped with my plan and has many suggestions on food, meals and exercise and how to recognize what good eating and exercise should be.

  1. Tenacity. I believe that too many people begin a diet or exercise routine but give up too quickly. In order to get to your ultimate goal, you must be willing to follow the plan to get to the goal and then stick with it. USANA teaches each new Associate to stick with the plan, learn the lessons and success will follow.

  1. A true support system. Without a good support system, none of the aforementioned items matters. Even if you have someone simply saying “Good job!” when you start to see some positive changes, that small support can be very meaningful. During this contest I was so fortunate to have a wife who supported and urged me on and USANA up line and cross line friends and Associates who watched out for me and supported me at each step.

The 2008 Reset Games have been successful for me in several measurable ways. By my final weigh-in, I should have reached my 25-pound weight-loss goal and I’ve also lost nearly a half dozen pants waist sizes. My blood glucose is now well within a normal range and remains steady. When my family sees me this summer, after not seeing me for three years, they’re going to be totally shocked and thrilled by my physical changes. I anticipate that at my mother’s week-long 80th birthday party celebration in June, I’ll have an opportunity to tell my brothers and sister about USANA, their great line of products and how my siblings can start on their own journeys to healthier lives.

Regardless of whether I win or place somewhere in the 2008 Reset Games contest, I know I have already won. I have proven to myself – and others – the value of living a better, healthier lifestyle. I also know – and tell everyone I meet – that USANA has played and continues to play a huge part in the remarkable changes in me.

My monthly AutoShip includes the HealthPak 100. It's a complete daily amount of vitamins and minerals and anti-oxidants and I think you'd be hard-pressed to find something that even equals the value and benefits you will get from it.

In addition to the HealthPak 100 I also keep well supplied with the Nutrimeal (Wild Strawberry flavor). A shake for breakfast gives me a 230 calorie low-glycemic meal that easily carries me to lunch. I usually blend it with a banana to make a thick filling drink that I know is healthy and good.

When I get those cravings, don't we all, around mid morning or mid afternoon, I'll have a Nutrition Bar. Also low-glycemic, the chocolate peanut flavor is so very satisfying that you'd think it should be on some banned list of foods. Fiber and natural ingredients give you a nice full feeling that will carry you to your next meal.

There are so many more USANA products that fill nearly every niche of your daily health regimen. Please look them over by clicking on the "PRODUCTS" link at the top of this page. But don't do it because I'm urging you to do so, please do it for your own sake. You may not remember me in 20 years, but if you get going on a healthy track, you just might remember me and thank me somewhere down the road.

Your Wealth
Having done my best over the years to earn my first million dollars only to give up on that and begin working on my second million I realized not long ago that the whole concept of trading work for an hourly wage just wasn't going to work.  Deeply in debt I remember saying to my wife that the only way I may ever get out of debt before I die is to hit the lottery. Of course I think the odds are better that I would be hit by lightening inside my house than winning the lottery.

But then a friend I work with began talking of a better way. I was wary for quite a while and he was kind not to punch me in the nose as I ridiculed his suggestion that I get involved with the products from a company he worked with. When he tried to explain how it worked to me I barely listened and certainly didn't embrace it. But about two weeks before Thanksgiving 2007, he suggested I try 5 days worth of the HealthPak 100 product. He only asked that I give it an honest assessment and then let him know.

Within two days I was surprised that my knees didn't creak as I stood up. Then I began to actually feel better with more energy and by the time 5 days was up I was more than a little curious.

That's when we talked about how USANA products are not only good for you, but that they had a plan for people interested in having their own business. Through Network Marketing the USANA products are distributed and through a simple plan, you earn a commission on what your customers purchase. I think I signed up about 3 days later.

My Story (or at least a bit of it)

Having been diagnosed in April of 2007 with Type 2 diabetes, I've been extra careful and very aware of the foods I eat.  I've cut out almost all sugar, reduced my sodium intake and spend extra time daily to locate and cook healthy foods that still taste good.  I'm fairly good at that and would enjoy passing you some of my tips. I use USANA products daily and love the flavor, texture of the shakes and the quality of the food, vitamins and suppliments. It has become so easy to think in terms of health when I use the highest quality products available.
